A great practice last night was made even better with the return of Dan Sapienza, who showed up to do some training. Twelve months into a 16-month recovery process from knee surgery, Sap appears strong, fit and in good spirits. Hopefully he will be ready to try out that new knee on a soccer ball in four months time.
The team also tested out some new goalie prospects and is primed for the official release of the LA Municipal League schedule this Saturday. Less than three weeks to go before kickoff on March 29.
Yes, a great practice indeed. It's great to see our club grow right in front of our eyes. The two new keeper prospects were very promising. Even though Steven, is under the age of 30, he will be a great commodity for the squad, especially for the kick for a cure tournament.
